What can
I do with a projector?
Display
anything available on a computer:
a)
Power Point- display a presentation, review or
game
b)
Microsoft Word- display, discuss, correct student
work; create a class story
c)
Microsoft Excel- create a class graph to display
data and then analyze the data
d)
Internet- view a website or interactive activity
that can be found on the Internet
e)
DVD/VCR- enhance curriculum with a video clip or
movie
(A VCR must
be connected to the projector. If you do not have a DVD installed on your
computer or a VCR connected to your projector, please submit a work ticket.)
How do I turn on my projector?
a)
Using the
controller:
1) On Button (green): Turns the
projector on
2)
Computer
Button: Shows whatever is on your computer screen
3)
S-Video
Button: Shows the connected VCR or DVD
4)
Stand-By
Button: Puts the machine in a standby mode. Turn the projector off only if you are not
going to use it for at least 40 minutes. (This was asked of us when we got
the boards.)
b) No Controller:
Keys
are located on the bottom of the projector.
