A Community of 21st Century Learners In March 2012, Bassett, Dover, Hilliard and Holly
Lane Elementary Schools submitted Applications for Candidacy to the International
Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) with the goal of implementing the
International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme
(IB PYP) within the next few years. Schools expect to hear from the IBO over
the summer and hope to start the 2012-2013 school year
as IB Candidate Schools. This site is intended to provide information about
the IB PYP and the progress of the Westlake Elementary Schools toward
candidacy and through the authorization process. Please feel free to contact
