December 2007 Wrapping Christmas Gifts with Aktion Club

On December 15^th, Builder’s Club members helped wrap Christmas Gifts with the Aktion club. Gifts went to needy families in the area.

Staff vs. Students Volleyball Game Pictures   Pie-in-the-face movies  1 2 3 4 5 On November 2nd, the Lee Burneson Builders Club held an assembly that pitted the 8th grade, girls volleyball team against the Burneson staff.  In front of the entire school, the girls showed why they are considered one of the best volleyball teams in school history by beating the staff 25-17 in the first game.  Afterword, one student from each team was given the chance to throw a pie in one of their teacher’s faces, much to the delight of the crowd.  Students were able to purchase tickets for this event throughout the week.  Proceeds will benefit those affected by wildfires in the southwest United States.  Due to time constraints, the second game ended with the staff up 5-3.  The following Friday morning, both teams met again and the staff defeated the girls in two tough matches, 25-23 (a continuation of the previous game), and 27-25.
