HOW TO FIND THE DENSITY OF GASES

 

MASS:

1.                FIND THE MASS OF THE BOTTLE OF AIR, THE WASHER, AND THE RUBBER VALVE.

 

2.                USE THE PUMP TO REMOVE AIR FROM THE BOTTLE

 

3.                REMEASURE THE BOTTLE, THE WASHER, AND THE VALVE.

4.                CALCULATE THE MASS OF AIR REMOVED FROM THE BOTTLE

 

VOLUME:

1.                FILL THE BOTTLE WITH WATER AND MEASURE THE WATER BY POURING IT INTO THE GRADUATED CYLINDER.

 

DIVIDE THE VOLUME INTO THE MASS TO FIND THE DENSITY
