LAB SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
We are
starting chemistry labs this week. Involved in the labs are elements that could
potentially cause harm (chemicals, boiling water, fire, etc.) to students if
specific rules are not followed. For the safety of students, ALL RULES MUST be followed during chemistry
labs. Should the rules not be followed, two directives will be given to you.
First, you will be asked to stop working on the lab and to move to a safe area.
Second, you will complete the make-up lab for that lesson found on my web site,
resulting in a 25% reduction in your lab grade for that day. You are required to look at your homework
page to know the lab days.
