Supreme Court  (9 justices)

·         They rule on any cases arising from the constitution

 

·         ***Judicial Review*** Supreme Court’s ability to judge constitutionality of a law, treaty, lower court decision, etc.

 

·         Federal courts – lower courts in major cities

 

·         Qualifications – none

 

·         Term – life time term

 

·         Section 3:  treason – giving aid/comfort to an enemy

 

 

Article 4

Relationships between states:

Section 2: 

·         Citizen of one state, you’re one of all

·         Criminals that flee from one state to another, must be returned

Section 3:

·         No state can be split up into two, or  no two states can form into one without Congress vote

Section 4:

·         Each new state must be a republic (representative democracy)
