
1. Where is Spanish spoken?- Students will label a map with the 20 Spanish speaking countries.
2. Conversation- Students will introduce themselves in
Spanish to a partner and be able to greet and exchange information with him or
her.
3. Classroom
objects- Students will design a
classroom drawing labeling 10-15 of the 20 objects learned in class.
4. Colors- Students will design a picture with a key
identifying the colors that each part of the picture will be in Spanish. Ie. sky
is azúl- or the sky is blue, beach is café- or the beach is brown.
5. Body parts- Students will label 10 parts of the face.
6. Weather
and Seasons- Students will label
weather and simple objects that remind you of that season. Ie.
El otoño-fall, hace fresco-it’s cool, el fútbol americano-football. Each season should have 2 weather words
drawn and labeled as well as 2 words associated with that particular season.
7. Clothing- Students will pick a season and draw
appropriate clothing for that season on
their gingerbread person.
8. Family- Students will be able to talk about 3 family
members, including relation, name, age and a description using 3 adjectives in
Spanish.
9. Adjectives- Students will pick 2 students in their
classroom and 2 teachers in their school by describing their physical appearance
as well as personality.
10.Conversation- Famous
person- Students will pick a famous
person to research and present
information learned in the classroom such as name, age,
b-day, description, etc.
