Greetings! 

Welcome to Foods I, Focus on Fashion II,

Dynamic Relations and Interior Design! 

I look forward to getting to know you.  This is my 7^th year teaching Family and Consumer Science; however, it is my 5^th year at Westlake High School.  I spent my undergraduate years in college working towards a degree in Fashion Merchandising and Interior Design.  Upon graduation, I worked in the business world for 5 years.  Working with the high school age group as a swim coach made me consider teaching as a career.  I soon left the business world and enrolled in a graduate school program to pursue my educational degree in Family and Consumer Science. Since then, I received my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an endorsement in Literacy.
