1. You can make an assignment equal x points and give the student a score that is higher than that.

1. You can create an assignment, give it an assignment type and a point value of “0”. Then enter points for that “assignment”

Method

Create an assignment type called Extra Credit. Then, when creating assignments, choose Extra Credit in the assignment type and put 0 in the points.

This is much like method 2, but allows you to then sort by this type
