EGP:  Creating Passwords for Students
 
Description:

In order for grades to be uploaded to a web, there must be a password created.  Passwords must be a minimum of 6 characters.

By leaving out a password for a student, his/her grades will not be uploaded.

At this time, most teachers are using the Pupil Number for the grades password. If you work in a team, check with your team members in order to be consistent.

You can get these numbers from your student list or see your Tech Resource teacher.  Many times, you can import names, pupil numbers, and other data automatically - if you ask.

After starting EGP, click on the tab  
In the password column, type in a password for the student

 
Alternatively, you can copy and paste out of an Excel file for sharing of passwords within teaching teams, as long as the names are in the same order.

Note:  Please double check that pupil numbers are correct before proceeding
