Adding Tabs to Your Home Page

Description:
You can add tabs to Internet Explorer and use them tactically for instruction.  Add tabs for the day for lessons or add tabs of web pages that have resources you need.

 

Look for the small square New Tab control.

Click the tab

 

A new tab will appear
Using the search functions or by copying/pasting a URL into the address box, go to a site you wish to have as part of your 'tab set'

You can keep adding tabs up to a total of 8

 

Click the next to the to the right of the tabs

Choose Add or Change Home Page

Choose either to add the new tab to your tab set or to use the current tab set as your home page

Next time you log in, the tabs you added should appear.
