Here are directions on adding comments for students.  Please note that comments should not be deleted from quarter to quarter.

For each of the subjects you teach, there is a comment area.

1.  Each area has its own comment bank.  These are comments you create.  The bank will hold up to 5 comments for each area.

2.  To record a comment for a student, click their name from the left column of names.

3.  Verify the student's name in the comment area.

4.  This is the comment area.  You can type in it or transfer comments from the comment bank into it.

5.  Don't delete comments from quarter to quarter.  Rather, place your comments after the label Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4 at the appropriate times. 

6.  To add a comment from the bank, first click in the comment area (4) and position the cursor.  Next, click on the 'number' of the comment that you wish to include.

Known comment issues:
  • There's a large enough space to write, but it's for all four quarters.
  • If you delete your comments from the comment area each quarter, there will be no record
     
  • If you run out of space, you could resize the text so that it's a smaller font by:
    • Highlight the text
    • Format menu
    • Size
    • 10

 

  If you're done:  Saving is automatic.  To close out of the program if finished, choose the X in the top right of the window
