Configuring Your Report Card

Notes:  When you first open your report card file, there are no student names in it.  The file first needs to be configured.  This step is done only once at the beginning of each new school year.  Some of the principals may complete this step for you, so please check first with them before completing the steps below.

Note:  These instructions are for homeroom teachers only.

A. On the desktop, double-click on My Computer

B. Double-click on the M drive

Look for your schools' name before the M

C.  Double-click the file with your last name (username)

  • If you're a K-4 Specials teacher, double-click the file name of the homeroom teacher you wish to record grades for.

 

Note:  Always start the program by double-clicking on the appropriate file.
 

 

Enter your grade level, the building you work at, and your teacher ID then click the Begin button

The ID can be obtained from your office.

 

On the next page, fill in the following fields.

Elementary Teachers

  • Teacher ID (Same as before)
  • Report Card Name (What you type in this field is how your name will appear on the report card)
  • Your Building

Parkside Teachers

  • Teacher ID
  • Which teacher teaches what
  • Grade level

 

Click on the Student Information Tab

 

Confirm that your Teacher ID is correct. and click the Configure Report Cards button

 

You should now see students listed.  If you don't please notify your principal

 

If your not finished, go on to any of the other instructions. 

If you'd like to stop at this point:  Saving is automatic.  To close out of the program, choose the X in the top right of the window
