Saving a Word Document as a Web Page |

In
order to save into your web, you must have created a connection
(In the past we used to use 'mappings' now we use
My Network Places) If you
haven't yet done this, go to the
Create a My Network Place
directions before continuing these directions.

Open your Word document from your S drive | |

Click on the
Office button in the top left of your
screen and click on Save As
|

Since you put
a shortcut to your My Network Places into your @shortcuts folder:

Save-in Field If you want the file to go into a specific folder within your web, double-click that folder. If you want to create a new folder,
click the

File Name Type in a file name.

File Type Change the file type to Web Page. Be sure to choose not to choose the other two types of web pages

Save Button
Click

Now that you've saved it to your web, you now have to create a link to this new page. | |
