Description:
Here are the new procedures for editing your teacher web page.  There are other ways, but this is the best method to use.  The steps below can be used from school or from home.

Open up Internet Explorer and navigate to the web page you wish to edit

Go to File / Edit with Microsoft Office Word

When the security dialog box comes up, type in wlake\ before your name in the User name field

Type your password in the password field.

Click

Note:  it MUST be a backslash, which is above the Enter key on the keyboard

At this point, the web page should open up in Word.  But, it's real important you look up and make sure "Read Only" is not displayed.

Note:  If "Read Only" is displayed, close the file out and go through steps 2 and 3 again, making sure you're careful about the backslash and your password.  If this is a team web page, the file could be open by another teacher.

Edit your web page

Click the on the toolbar to save your changes.

Go to that web page, refresh the page by click the on the toolbar and check to see if the changes were saved.
