History of this site

This site
was first developed in 2000 when Kurt Thonnings was hired as a
Technology Resource teacher for the Westlake City School district.
At the time, no more than a handful of teachers at the two schools he
services - LBMS and Parkside - had web pages. None of those
original teachers had their pages on the Westlake web server.
Because of the need and desire of the teachers to maintain their own
websites free of advertisement, Kurt began writing instructions that
individuals could access at any time - from home or from school.
Today this website contains not only webpage instructions, but
resource links, hardware help, curriculum, software instructions, as
well as networking answers and grade book and report card help.
Currently, over 95% of teachers at both schools maintain their own
webpages. |
