Under each activity will be a list of books, URL’s, and on-line resources.  Here is the key to the type of resource:

All books are in the Burneson library on reserve.  This means they are in the library for you to use during the day, and can be checked out overnight.

5.  Write a 1 page report on some of the infectious diseases common in the concentration camps.   How did it spread?  What were its symptoms?  How was it treated?  What was the mortality rate of the disease?

6.  Besides the Holocaust of WW II, detail another example of “ethnic cleansing” or genocide.  When did it happen?  Who was targeted?  Who were the aggressors?  Where did it happen?  How many people were affected?   Include 2 photos.  Writing must be one full page.
