Day 1

            What types of immunizations will you need?

            What dangers are there in traveling in foreign countries?

Planning your trip to Africa – Open this web page, then COPY the document.  Open a WORD document,  PASTE what you copied into it.  Save this WORD document in your S drive –file name: trip

Now you can type your answers onto the WORD document.  Hit the disc to save your work as you add information.

 

Day 2

YOU WILL NEED A PASSPORT TO TRAVEL OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATESpassport.gifpassport.gif

Passport Cover

      Open the document and save in your S drive.  Orientation should be LANDSCAPE.

File name: passport cover

Inside of Passport

      Open the document and save in your S drive BEFORE you fill in the information.

Orientation should be LANDSCAPE.

 File name:  passport inside

Stamp your passport with the outline of the countries you are visiting

            Left click on the outline of the country you visit.

            Right click on the outline of the country and paste it on the left side of the inside of your passport.

         Ask Mrs. Pettyjohn or Mrs. Piskura to take your photo with a digital camera.  The photo will then be put in BuPublic-Schrembeck Passports or Laposky Passports folder.

         You will insert the photo from BuPublic into  the correct place on your passport (ask if you don’t know how to do this).

          We will be printing both front and back of your passport in color AFTER you have completed everything on the inside: (1) country stamps from countries visited;  (2)your photo;  (3)your personal information.

To print:  Save your passport, both front and back, on a USB USB.png

Take it to Mrs. Pettyjohn , Mrs. Piskura or your teacher who will print it out for you in color.

Day 2 & 3 & 4

YOU WILL HAVE ONE SCRAPBOOK PAGE FOR EACH COUNTRY. 

SCRAPBOOK - Open this web page, then COPY the document.  Open a WORD document,  PASTE what you copied into it.  Save this WORD document in your S drive –file name: scrapbook. For each additional country, save another Word document and name the files scrapbook2 and scrapbook 3.

Make sure you hit the disk every few minutes to keep saving your work.
