Microsoft Office Suite

Students currently use the
Microsoft
Office Suite to create documents, presentations, spreadsheets, etc.
Though other programs have some limited capabilities to save files
as Office files, it is much more efficient to have MS office at home |

USB mini-drive
|
Not all students will make use of the
new flash memory USB drives.
Certainly, students at the high school will have more work to bring
home to finish as homework than 5th or 6th grade students. The main point
here though, is that as our computers age, 3-1/2 floppy drives and
the floppies themselves start breaking. Work can - and has
been lost - if not properly backed up at home. Click on the

Though floppies are acceptable, the USB drives are more desirable.

 Virus Protection
|
Virus Protection is a must!
Please invest in home computer virus protection. If possible,
purchase one that also has a firewall. Some packages also have
parental controls, spam and spyware protection, wireless device
protection, firewall, privacy data protection, etc. Check out
