Notes:

Competing at the Ashland Invitational for the first time in team history, 21 of the 23 runners improved their times from last week while several new runners set career PR’s, including Grace Jenkins, Katherine Garruto, Hannah McCarthy, Elizabeth Raiff, Jasmine Welch, Bridget Smik, Ingrid Wagner, Katherine Johnson, Galvin Quinn, Stephanie Freeman, Lucia Ann Keller, Eleni Packis, Christina Bowser, and Lauren Fattlar.
2^nd year runner Stephanie Buza especially impressed as she set a new career 5K PR as well, beating her previous best by 21 seconds.
Running off of one another, Grace Jenkins, Alesha Beverly, and Liz Kobe packed together to finish within 10 seconds of each other while finishing in the top 30.
Megan Duffy and Brittany Antognazzi both improved from last week’s race to round out the scoring for the team while Garruto and Jacky Gardner ran well enough to qualify as Varsity runners for next week’s competition at the Tiffin Carnival.
Returning from injury, freshman Maggie Kronz ran in her first ever high school 5K.
The girls lowered their team 5K from last week by over a minute with a 1:09:28.
